Voter Registration and Important Dates for 2024 General Election

The 2024 General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Voters will have the opportunity to elect the next president and vice president; members of the U.S. House and Senate; state House and state Senate (in odd-numbered senatorial districts); and state row offices, including attorney general, auditor general, and treasurer.

The 88th Legislative District consists of part of CUMBERLAND County consisting of the TOWNSHIPS of Hampden and Lower Allen (PART, Precincts 01, 03, 04, 05 and 06) and the BOROUGHS of Mechanicsburg, New Cumberland and Shiremanstown.

Delozier Initiative to Clarify Veterans Benefits Passes the House

HARRISBURG—Language directly from Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier’s (R-Cumberland) House Bill 2083 passed the House unanimously this week as an amendment to Senate Bill 1080. Delozier’s contribution would correct a state-level discrepancy, ensuring veterans and their spouses receive the Vital Statistics fee waiver they are entitled to for death certificates.

Delozier Bill Would Aid Prosecutors, Bolster Community Safety

HARRISBURG—Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R-Cumberland) is introducing a bill as part of a larger package of legislation aimed at stopping violent crime and ensuring safer communities across the Commonwealth. Delozier’s bill is one of several being brought forward by Republicans in the state House. The bills collectively address crime prevention, policing, prosecution and punishment.
