Delozier to Host Older and Wiser Seminars

HARRISBURG – Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R-Cumberland) is hosting two Older and Wiser Seminars for residents of the 88th District. The purpose of these seminars is to educate attendees on power of attorney (POA) arrangements and other topics.

“I am glad to partner with Mid Penn Legal Services to bring important information about Power of Attorney (POA) arrangements to our community,” said Delozier. “The seminar will explain what a POA is, what can happen if you don’t have one, how a POA can help protect your family, the role of agents and other key topics. We will also briefly discuss living wills, standard wills and health care POAs.

“This is an opportunity for constituents to receive guidance on important legal matters at no cost, whether for themselves or aging parents. I hope to see many people take advantage of this opportunity.”

The events will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. on the following dates:

• Thursday, Oct. 1, at Mechanicsburg Place Senior Center, 97 W. Portland St. in Mechanicsburg.
• Thursday, Nov. 5, at West Shore Senior Center, 122 Geary Ave. in New Cumberland.
