Delozier Hosting Car Seat Safety Check, Damaged License Plate Replacement Event on Sept. 24
September 10, 2026
HARRISBURG – State Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R-Cumberland) is hosting a public safety event, including child car seat safety checks and damaged license plate replacements, for residents of the 88th District on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 4-7 p.m., at Platinum Mitsubishi, 6039 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg.
“Properly installed car seats significantly reduce the risk of fatal injury for children involved in car accidents: 71% for infants and 54% for toddlers. My car seat safety check offers families an essential safeguard, and providing replacements for damaged license plates helps ensure local drivers are in full compliance with state law,” said Delozier.
“I encourage residents to take advantage of these free services, which strengthen public safety in our community. I also appreciate the collaboration with our certified car seat technicians and law enforcement partners whose work makes this event possible.”
Individuals planning to participate in the damaged license plate replacement portion of the event will need to bring their unexpired Pennsylvania driver’s license and current vehicle registration.
RSVPs are required for this event. Please call Delozier’s office at 717-761-4665 or visit RepDelozier.com/Events.
