As a result of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections decision to replace the tower guards with electronic monitoring equipment at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Camp Hill, Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland) has scheduled a public meeting to enable the residents of the 88th District to be better informed and to ask questions they may have about this decision. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, at Highland Elementary School, 1325 Carlisle Road in Camp Hill.

Legislation that would permit employees within the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW) to report cases of suspected fraud directly to the Office of Inspector General (OIG) is now headed to the governor’s desk for his signature, said Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland). The bill was passed unanimously by the House on Oct. 4, and was approved by the Senate on Dec. 16.
