Every year, I look forward to interviewing Pennsylvania's Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding at the Farm Show. We had a great discussion about the theme of this year's show, as well as agribusiness careers, the future of the industry, and more.
While volunteering at the PA Dairymen's Association's famous milkshake stand, I stepped aside to interview executive director Dave Smith. Did you know every shake supports a cause? Milkshakes fund scholarships, internships, food bank donations and more.
Ahead of the holiday season, my staff and I volunteered to pack boxes at the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. It serves 26 counties and over 270,000 individuals every month. We were glad to help our friends and neighbors in need this Christmastime.
We recently unveiled Cumberland County's own America250PA bell in downtown Carlisle. For a more in-depth look at the bell and all the history it symbolizes, watch this short video! It was a pleasure to help unveil this new tribute to our county.
Seeing the Blue Angels perform is such a cool experience! The team is coming back to Harrisburg International Airport (HIA) to perform at the Air Dot Show Central PA on May 23–24, 2026. I had a blast seeing the jets and talking to pilots about the incredible skill it takes to do their job.

On Nov. 18, I spoke about my bipartisan House Bill 133 at a hearing of the House Children and Youth Committee. I am glad to advocate for this legislation, which would support the best interests of children and parents who’ve worked to rebuild their lives.

On Nov. 12, the House Judiciary Committee considered and passed my House Bill 1432 with near-unanimous support. This legislation would clarify definitions in the Protection From Abuse (PFA) Act to better protect victims, especially those in non-traditional domestic relationships. I am grateful for my colleagues’ bipartisan support for this issue.
Keep Going! With summer behind us, there are still plenty of fishing and boating opportunities this fall and winter. If you're boating, remember that life jackets are required from Nov. 1 through April 30 on boats less than 16 feet including all canoes, kayaks and paddleboards.
