HARRISBURG – State Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland) announced the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) awarded three grants to local agencies in Cumberland County effective January 2022.

The three grants are:
• Cumberland County Commissioners received a $375,000 STOP Violence Against Women grant for the Cumberland County STOP Grant 2022-2024.
• Lower Allen Township received a $59,504 Federal Bryne Justice Assistance Grant for the License Plate Reader Expansion Program.
• Cumberland County Commissioners received $46,410 for the Cumberland County Regional CIT Collaborative project.

“As a commission member of the PCCD, I am glad to see grant dollars awarded to Cumberland County,” said Delozier. “The grant dollars will be put to good use as the county continues to ensure public safety, justice and mental health services for residents.”

PCCD initiates, validates and financially supports justice-related programs put forth by practitioners and experts in the justice system.
