Delozier to Honor Veterans of the 88th Legislative District

May 11, 2021

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland) is inviting veterans who live in the 88th Legislative District to attend her ninth-annual Tribute to Veterans Breakfast on Thursday, May 20, at Strock’s Farm, 729 Williams Grove Road, Mechanicsburg.

“My staff and I always look forward to paying tribute to the men and women who are serving and have served our country, as well as watching the fellowship and comradery between the various branches of the military,” said Delozier. “In addition, we have students from Cedar Cliff High School’s JROTC program and the school’s very talented barbershop quartet to interact with our veterans.”

Veterans from the 88th district who are interested in being recognized for their service must RSVP to the district office as soon as possible. The district includes the following municipalities: the townships of Lower Allen and Upper Allen; and the boroughs of Lemoyne, Mechanicsburg, New Cumberland, Shiremanstown and Wormleysburg.

Anyone who desires to attend should register in advance by calling 717-761-4665 or visiting Delozier’s website at repdelozier.com. The event opens its doors at 7:30 a.m. and the program starts at 8 a.m. This year’s speaker will be Dauphin County Veterans Court Judge William Tully, who will share his work with veterans in our area.
