HARRISBURG – Thanks to the overwhelming turnout for her late August event, state Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Camp Hill) invites residents of the 88th Legislative District to participate in a second no-contact shredding event she will be hosting on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9-11 a.m. in the parking lot of the Lower Allen Township building, 2233 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill.
“The need for another shredding event became obvious when the number of people that came out in August required us to stay open well past the time we expected to shut down the operation for the day,” said Delozier. “This again will be a really good opportunity for residents of the district to safely dispose of paperwork which contains private information that could end up in the hands of identity thieves looking to obtain passwords or Social Security numbers.”
Tri-State Shredding will once again securely dispose of documents while employing proper COVID-19 safety measures. There will be a limit of four boxes and/or bags per household and the event is limited to residential customers only (no businesses).
Anyone planning to participate should call Delozier’s district office ahead of time at 717-761-4665.
The 88th Legislative District in Cumberland County consists of Lower Allen and Upper Allen townships; as well as Lemoyne, Mechanicsburg, New Cumberland, Shiremanstown and Wormleysburg boroughs.
