LOWER ALLEN - State Sen. Mike Regan (R-Cumberland/York), state Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland), and Lower Allen Township Commissioner Thomas Kutz are preparing to co-host a small business roundtable on Wednesday, Oct. 14, to discuss obstacles presented to small businesses by the COVID-19 pandemic and to collaborate on a way forward that bolsters the local economy.
“Small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy, and it’s vitally important that we as legislators communicate with business owners to work together on an approach to recovery that works best for them,” Regan said.
“Prioritizing the health of our communities during this pandemic not only means guarding against the spread of COVID-19,” said Delozier. “It means communicating with and supporting as best we can our neighbors and friends who have poured their lives into a dream that in some cases is on the verge of being shattered through no fault of their own. Our small businesses will be the foundation of our states economic recovery and we need to partner with them for a path forward.”
The roundtable will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 8:30 a.m. in Gorgas Hall of the Lower Allen Township Municipal Services Center and will feature business owners from the community.
“Our small businesses have been hit hard, and it’s incumbent upon us to do everything in our power to bring our local economy back stronger and better than ever before,” Kutz said. “I’m looking forward to partnering with Senator Regan and Representative Delozier to forge a new path of economic growth for our small businesses.
