Delozier to Host ‘Tribute to Veterans’ Event on May 30
LOWER ALLEN – As a way to say “thank you” to local veterans and men and women who currently serve in uniform, Rep. Sheryl Delozier will host a breakfast and recognition ceremony for veterans residing in the 88th Legislative District. All veterans are welcome to participate, regardless of when they served.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 30, at the First Church of God Community Center, located at 201 E. Green St. in Mechanicsburg. Registration will take place from 7:30-8 a.m.
“It is important to recognize and honor those men and women whose military service has preserved our liberty and our democracy,” said Delozier. “We must never forget those who served their country to ensure our freedom.”
The breakfast will feature U.S. Congressman Scott Perry (R-4), a colonel in the Pennsylvania National Guard, as keynote speaker.
